Get Rid Of Pimples At Home Overnight
Who among us hasn’t looked in the mirror and to our horror seen acne rearing it’s ugly head? Pimples always seem to appear at the most inopportune times. Talk about a bad start to a day! However you can take control of your skin and it’s beauty. Here are some tips for treating acne that can work overnight.
I. Clean your face with White Toothpaste
Toothpaste is surprisingly effective in treating pimples. Most people have toothpaste at home but you need to use the plain white variety. Simply wash that affected area and then apply the toothpaste.The next morning, wash your face with cool to cold water. If you aren’t going out for the day, you can repeat the procedure.
White toothpaste typically contains silica and this will help to dry out the pimples. If your face become irritated discontinue use or try a different toothpaste.
II. Orange peels and juice
Most people are aware that oranges contain Vitamin C and will help in the prevention of colds. Orange peels are also effective in the treatment of acne.
Allow the orange peels to dry in the sun. Next take the dried peels and grind them to create a powder. Mix some rose water with the powder to create a paste. Wash your hands and face with a mild soap and warm water. Apply the paste and allow it to sit for 15 to 20 minutes then rinse it off.
Fresh orange peels will also work. Simply rub the orange peel directly on the acne. Make sure and use a separate peel for each pimple.
Last but not least, apply fresh orange juice directly to the affected area. You can dip a cotton swab or a ball into the orange juice. All the juice to sit for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash with fresh cold water.
III. Freeze The Pimple
A very simple method to treat zits is ice. Take an ice cube and apply it directly to the zit. You can also wrap ice in a small bit of foil, towel or inside of a Ziploc bag. Alternate holding the ice on the area and allowing your face to warm up.
While these treatments will work, an ounce of prevention is worth a bound of cure. Here are some quick tips to help prevent acne outbreaks.
1. Wash your face twice a day. You should use clean warm water along with a mild facial soap. Dry your face with a clean dry towel. Pat don’t rub your face to dry.
2. Use noncomedogenic moisturizers.
3. Limit the times that you touch your face during the day. Don’t pop pimples.
4. Once weekly you should use exfoliating treatments.
5. Don’t overload your skin with products.
6. Protect your skin from the sun. Wearing a protective hat and applying a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
7. Eat healthy.
8. Make sure and get plenty of water.
