There are many women who are plagued with cellulite on their abdomen, legs, hips, thighs and buttocks. For many women cellulite keeps them from enjoying time at the beach or even outside. They really just are ashamed of the way their body looks. Using cellulite treatments is sometimes expensive. You can do several things on your own without having to go through the embarrassment of an office visit. First, look at your body in a mirror and take note of where the cellulite is locating in your particular case. These are the areas that you are going to want to focus on treating. These are however some things that you can do at home to treat cellulite.
- Massage – This is a very effective method of treating cellulite. Use a mixture of oils like almond, sunflower and rosemary to loosen and overtime breakdown the cellulite. This should be done daily if possible. This is also a way to reduce stress and can be fun and stimulating when done with your partner.
- Changing your diet – Doing things to eat healthier will reduce the amount of cellulite in your body. Improving your diet will help improve circulation, lower body weight and limit the formation of cellulite in your body. You want to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables that are included in our diet. Foods like asparagus, bananas, bran, oranges, oats and berries are examples of these types of food.
- Natural creams and lotions – Using natural creams and lotions for massage can be helpful. Here is a recipe that is an example: ¾ cup of apricot or almond oil, 1 teaspoon of lanolin, 1/3 cup of coconut or cocoa butter, ½ oz of beeswax. Take these ingredients and melt them using low hear. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. When the ingredients have cooled mix with the following: 2/3 cup of rosewater, 1/3 cup of aloe vera gel, 1 – 2 drops of rose oil and then the contents contained in 1 capsule of Vitamin E. Add there ingredients with the first mixture and whip until it has the consistency of butter cream frosting.
- Apple Cider Vinegar – The ingredients in Apple Cider Vinegar make it an excellent bacteria fighting agent. It is popular weight reduction and is very effective in the reducing cellulites. Mix 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar with 8 ounces of water and a teaspoon of honey. You can also massage Apple Cider Vinegar into your skin.
