Licorice extract……known to raise blood pressure.

Some licorice sweets might do the work but they would have to be the real deal because most modern licorice as sold in ordinary sweet shops has no licorice extract at all….i.e. fake licorice and has too much sugar. Try your health shop but get an assistant to double check the label for the if you are unsure…..should say licorice extract.

Panda licorice sold at H&B in the UK is real licorice (with the extract). It uses molasses for sweetener instead of sugar.
