Kevin Mark Trudeau (born February 6, 1963) is an American author, radio personality, infomercial salesman, and convicted felon best known for promoting alternative medicine. A number of his television infomercials and several of his books, including Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, allege that both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the pharmaceutical industry value profit more highly than treatments or cures.
After being incarcerated for fraud in the early 1990s, Kevin Trudeau joined a multi-level marketing firm together, called Nutrition for Life. They met with success until the Attorney General of Illinois charged them with running a pyramid scheme. They and their company settled cases brought by the state of Illinois and seven other U.S. states for US$185,000.
Next, Kevin Trudeau produced and appeared in late-night television infomercial broadcasts throughout North America. They promoted a range of products, including health aids, dietary supplements (such as coral calcium), baldness remedies, addiction treatments, memory-improvement courses, reading-improvement programs, and real estate investment strategies. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission took regulatory action against Kevin Trudeau, alleging that his broadcasts contained unsubstantiated claims and misrepresentations. In 1998, Kevin Trudeau was fined. In 2004, he settled a contempt-of-court action arising out of the same cases by agreeing to a settlement that included both payment of a $2 million fine and a ban on further use of infomercials to promote any product other than publications protected by U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment.
Kevin Trudeau began writing books and promoting them with infomercials. One was Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, published in 2005. The book was criticized for containing no natural cures. Kevin Trudeau said he was not able to include them because of threats by the FTC, then released an updated version of the original book.
Next, he published More Natural Cures Revealed: Previously Censored Brand Name Products That Cure Disease (ISBN 0-9755995-4-2). According to Trudeau, the book contains the names of actual brand name products that will cure myriad illnesses. Trudeau’s books claim that animals in the wild rarely develop degenerative conditions like cancer or Alzheimer’s disease and that many diseases are caused, not by viruses or bacteria, but rather by an imbalance in vital energy. Science writer Christopher Wanjek critiqued and rejected many of these claims in his July 25, 2006, LiveScience health column.
Trudeau went on to publish The Weight-Loss Cure “They” Don’t Want You to Know About and Debt Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About. His writing has been commercially successful. In September 2005, Natural Cures was listed in the New York Times as the number-one-selling nonfiction book in the United States for 25 weeks. It has sold more than five million copies.
Kevin Trudeau launched a self-titled Internet radio talk show in February 2009. It also airs on several small radio stations consisting of mostly brokered programming.

I’m not a huge …
I’m not a huge Kevin Trudeau fan myself, but one thing i DO believe is what he says about the drug companies trying to silence him. This is America and no matter how crack-pot someone’s ideas seem, he has a right to them and we should protect his rights. Even if he doesn’t have the cures, shouldn’t we as a society be open to the natural cures? Personally I’m more skeptical to believe people who have something to sell me, such as the drug companies!!! Their opinion is always skewed
hes a scammer. i …
hes a scammer. i want to believe theres a cure for diabetes …but there just isnt one.
A. Jones is …
A. Jones is psychologically unstable, just look at his mannerisms.
K. Trudeau is an evil man.
- lol, “non-fiction book.”
Look how he mixes in all these conspiracies to suck in in ppl and create an aggregate group. This is the beauty of free speech.
So i guess …
So i guess promoting the health and wellness of America makes you a quack, so i guess we have to promote the death and control of our nation to be “normal”
Uh Alex, This Kevin …
Uh Alex, This Kevin Trudeau guy is a total quack. You know that Alex, I guess you support total quacks or are you one yourself?
Gogogo Kevin!

I don’t need a law to make me free!
I you can kill …
I you can kill yourself with alcohol and cigarettes and every other corporate pill, what do they care what anyone does for their own health!
Kevin Trudeau was …
Kevin Trudeau was the first to turn me on to the reality of the collusion between gigantic food corporations and the pharmaceutical monolith and their mutual goal of sickiening and enslaving the average American citizen for profit and power.
ahhh, yes. Kevin. sweet, innocent, adorable Kevin. (very lone pause here trying to think of something else that's nice about Kevin)
so, the pause is over, and still nothing. don't you just hate that? I know I do. Here, let's try again…
Kevin. (once again, I'm pausing to just allow the words to flow from my innermost being….)
Nope, nothing yet….
ya know….I think we just try this again tomorrow and see if it goes better!!!
