I don’t have the money to go and get products from the store or to go to a dermatologist, so I need something that I can find from home or maybe a dollar or grocery store.
I’ve used procative already, it didnt work.
The basic place of infection is on my forhead and around my hair line.
Also, any good ways to get rid of black heads?
I have them bad on my nose and upper lip.
So any good home remedies or tricks to getting rid of this would help dearly, thank you:]

personal experience
well its not a home remedy, but you can get it at Sally’s beauty for like 3 dollars.
its called "Queen Helene Apricot Natural Facial Scrub"
so you wash twice a day
day and night
every night, after you use the scrub.
use the Proactive renewing cleanser for like 10 secs.
dont use for 2 mins.
what it does, it helps you heal faster.
so after you scrub, wash acne areas with the renewing cleanser
.
this worked for me.
i had my brother do the same
and its clearing his acne.
so im guessing it works on other peeps.
hope this helps

i first got pimples when i was 11, which turned into full blown acne before i was 13. i had it for almost 9 years and tried everything! clinique, neutrogena, clearasil, proactive (one of my friends got proactive too and it didnt work for her either) i could go on and on…its really frustrating i know. it wasnt until a few weeks ago that i found a natural remedy that noticably improved my skin overnight, took every single blemish away by the second day (no joke), and even got rid of all my scarring within 1 week.
you cut a tomato in half and rub it in circular motions over your face. leave to dry. then do the same with raw potato potato slices. the acid in tomatos stops oily skin and fights pimples and inflammation, and the saliycilic acid, potassium, zinc, sulfur, phosphorus and chloride in uncooked potatoes clear up pimples, and the enzymes and vitamin C help rejuvenate the skin by nourishing unhealthy cell tissues.

Peppermint is preferable to spearmint as a medicinal herb because it contains menthol. But if you can’t find peppermint or aren’t sure which type of mint they have at the market, use whatever is available. Peppermint is easy to grow in most climates; consider growing your own supply.
Crushed mint as an herbal acne remedy.
Method
Take a handful of mint leaves and crush them thoroughly with a mortar and pestle.
Rub the leaves and juice on affected skin and leave for 5-10 minutes.
Rinse with cold water.
Repeat as often as desired to alleviate pain and inflammation.
Oatmeal is a product of ground oat grouts that can be used to treat acne.
Method
Cook a single serving of plain oatmeal as you would for eating.
Add approximately ¼ cup honey and mix thoroughly.
Allow to cool.
Apply to face, avoiding the eye area.
Leave for 10-20 minutes. Do not leave it on too long or it will become difficult to remove.
There are hundreds of varieties of aloe that grow all over the world. Most have medicinal properties. However, it is aloe barbadensis that is known as aloe vera, the species with the most value as a natural remedy. Aloe arborescens, the fast growing aloe with spiraling leaves, is more common as a houseplant and wild succulent in North America and its gel has healing properties as well but it is less powerful than aloe barbadensis.
Method
Remove a whole aloe leaf from the plant. Take an outer leaf and remove it as near the trunk as possible.
Cut a slit down the middle and allow the yellow latex to drain. The latex has other uses but is not good for irritated skin and might cause inflammation in some people.
If you want to use the aloe immediately, use a serrated knife to remove the thick skin. This will take some practice but after a few tries you will be able to remove the skin and end up with a nice thick piece of gel. and rinse the gel under cold water.
If you are using aloe arborescens, it is not necessary to drain the leaves. You can open the leaf and apply the gel directly.
Cut a piece of the gel and apply it directly to the skin as needed, avoiding the eyes..
The gel will keep for about a week if stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Lemon juice and rose water acne treatment
Method
Mix equal parts lemon juice and rose water.
Apply directly to skin. You might feel an initial sting from the lemon juice.
Rinse after 15-30 minutes.
Why It Works
Lemon juice is a natural astringent and mild antibacterial agent. Rose petals, from which rose water is made, also have antibacterial properties. It is a also a skin toner and helps to mitigate the rather harsh, acidic quality of straight lemon juice.
Dried nettle as an acne remedy
Nettle can be purchased in pill form. The pills contain freeze dried nettle and can be taken as recommended. Be sure to drink plenty of water along with dried nettle

I also used proactive but to no avail. I however did have to turn to a dermatologist. Sure enough the hormones in birth control pills helped clear my face as well as topical treaments recommmeded by the doctor and some antibiotics. I have tried in the past toothpaste (the gel kind) and for blackheads, wipe your face with hydrogen peroxide after a good cleanse or scrub like mentioned aboved. If it doesnt get better then try to save money because you face will only get worse to the point of no return!!
Good Luck!!!

5 Tips on Getting Rid of Acne
Summary:
Blemishes are a common occurrence at least once in life for each one of us. However, for many, these blemishes never seem to go away. As a matter of fact, they simply keep popping up! This is a direct result of a skin condition that is referred to as acne.
There are many different causes for acne. The complication is not in knowing why acne occurs, it is identifying the ultimate cause for each person that has it and then figuring out the appropriate treatment for the condition. There is some good news in light of all of this. That is that there are some basic acne treatments that everyone can experiment with when it comes to getting rid of acne. Here, I will share with you the most common 5 tips on getting rid of acne.
One of the first ways that you can be successful in getting rid of acne is to engage in a diet that benefits the skin, as well as your health in general. Organic foods have recently started to gain in popularity and for a very good reason. These particular foods are not processed. Furthermore, when these foods are cultivated, harmful chemicals that can prove to be toxic to your overall health, as well as the health of your skin are not used.
Examples of these toxins include herbicides, pesticides, and similar items. If you want to recover from acne, you should ensure to eat plenty of foods that are labeled Organic. Naturally, consuming a lot of foods that are green and leafy in the vegetable category is appropriate. Furthermore, fruits and nuts are also beneficial. It is also important to consume items that contain a fair amount of water.
The second way that you can get rid of acne is by ensuring that you consume ten to twelve glasses of water a day. Each of these glasses should be at least eight ounces. I know this seems like quite a bit of water, but it is a key element when it comes to purifying the body on the whole. The more water that moves through your body, the more clean and pure the inside of the body will be.
When this happens, that purification will actually spread to the outside, or the skin. This means that when impurities invade the pores of the skin, it is highly likely that the water that you have consumed will play a vital role in quickly eliminating this obstruction. As a result, you will experience fewer blemishes.
3.
Did you know that by increasing the amount of vitamins that you ingest, you can reduce the possibility of an acne outbreak? This is the next way that you can work on getting rid of acne. All you have to do is focus on eating foods that have high levels of vitamins A, B12, B, E, B5, & B6. If you find that it is difficult sorting through the ingredients on everything that you eat or drink in order to maximize your exposure to these vitamins, you can purchase supplements.
Many elect to simply take a multivitamin every single day. Then, there are some that purchase each of these vitamins and then rotate days on taking them. However, you decide to do it, it is important to just do it! You are sure to see immediate results when it comes to how clean and healthy your skin is!
4.
When it comes to getting rid of acne, many individuals are turning towards natural herbs. There are a number of herbs that have been found to assist in acne complications. Red Clover is an especially popular herb because of the fact that it works to purify the blood and remove toxins from the body. Then, you have other herbal remedies such as Dandelion Root, and Alfalfa. There are even Chinese Herbs like Yang Ming and Lung Heat that can prove to be beneficial.
5.
If you have a severe case of acne, and nothing else that you have tried is successful when getting rid of it, you should consider setting up an appointment with a dermatologist. These professionals will work closely with you to determine your triggers, skin type, and what will be the best treatment option for you as an individual.
Conclusion
Acne is a complex skin condition that has plagued millions and millions of people all throughout history. There are many different ways that you can approach this situation. While not all are successful for everyone, there are a few out there that can help you optimize the health of your skin. Here, you have been introduced to 5 tips on getting rid of acne give them a try!

Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin. 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol can also be used for severe oiliness, but it can really dry out your skin and irritate it more. Some toners are medicated, and this stage is the best for using a medicated product if you’re only going to use one medication.
Bacteria in pores is one cause of spots. Reduce the amount of bacteria by using toners containing anti-bacterial agents like alcohol, peroxide and benzalkonium chloride, and by using creams that contain benzoyl peroxide (ask your doctor about benzaclin, with moisturizer if you have dry skin, as it works better than just plain benzoyl because benzoyl takes up to 8 weeks before improvement is seen) which kill bacteria as well as cause the skin to regenerate faster.
Maintain a routine. Most acne treatments take time to work. It usually takes between two and eight weeks before you see any significant improvement, so you are going to have to be patient. Once you’ve gotten your acne cleared up, it’s important to continue with the treatment that’s working so it does not return.
If all else fails, contact a doctor. Mild antibiotics that are available only by prescription can help reduce acne. Keep in mind though, that the widespread overuse (taking antibiotics when you really don’t need them or for something they don’t treat) and misuse (not taking medication for the specified amount of time) of antibiotics has led to the development of multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria. That means that the antibiotics won’t work for the things they used to (including your acne).
Bye…

Eggplant. Slice a piece about 1/2 inch thick then hold it on the acne effected area using tape for a couple of hours or as long as you can. It actually works, I have tried it on a number of skin problems. The eggplant sucks out the poisons and infection. (Throw the eggplant away afterwards.)
Try eating good food. Avoid candy and sweets and deep fried foods. Instead of sodas, drink water with a squirt of lemon juice. Garlic is good too.
