Herbal remedies to aid studying and concentration before exams?

I’ve heard of many herbal and harmless remedies, which apparently aid one’s concentration prior to exams and possibly even increase the amount one can learn in the same amount of time.

Is there anything you would recommend, that you’ve heard of or better tried and would vouch for it’s effectiveness?

Thanks,
Uzi2491.

Hey buddy. For memory loss try eating more foods rich in Vitamin B1 (thiamine) ie ~ brewer’s yeast, whole grain breads and cereals, meat (pork or liver), nuts, legumes such as peas, beans and lentils and potatoes.

also take a multi B complex supplement including all the B’s ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 as they work best as a group.

The need for B1 (and the B complex) increases when we are stressed, during illnes and surgery. B1 has beneficial effects on the nervous system and mental attitude and will also aid in digestion and keep nervous system, muscles and heart functioning normally………… The B complex of vitamins will help bolster your system so as you can better deal with the everyday little dramas life presents for us… don’t take any of the B complex of vitamins individually but rather as a whole group as they work best together …. unless of course directly told to do so by a nutritionally oriented physician or naturopath ♥

It is a water soluble complex and as such our bodies can neither produce or store them. Therefore we need to ingest them on a daily basis or suffer the side affects.

Also, an L-glutamine supplement taken 3 times daily on an empty stomach will also bolster a healthy immune and nervous system and assist in maintaining muscle function……. it also helps maintain the health of intestinal flora and thus is a digestive aid ♥ Glutamine is a natural amino acid and a naturally occuring antioxidant and has brilliant brain boosting abilities .

Other nutrients which are said to enhance your memory and make you smarter are ~ Vitamine E, grapeseed extract, lipoic acid, Vitamin B3 (niacin), Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin B12 (cobalamin),folic acid, choline, gingko biloba, gotu kola ………… obviously none of them will turn you into Albert Einsteen but you’ll surely start remembering more buddy……… take care of you ♥

The herb rosemary ~ crisp and clean smelling ~ is great for stimulating the brain, improving memory and mental clarity, while helping with a variety of congested respiratory tract problems, stiff muscles, coldness as well as boosting the liver and gall bladder. It is also used for improving hair and scalp health.

Rosemary is a traditional herb for good memory, clear thinking and confidence.

Get some organic rosemary herb from your local health food store and put 1 – 2 teaspoons full into a teapot, fill with hot water and leave to brew for 15 – 20 minutes ………….. the taste is a touch bland so sweeten to taste with honey or squeeze some lemon juice into it ……. or even add another herb such as peppermint leaves to spice up the taste.

Only organic will do though, as the teabag and commercial varieties have had so much of the goodness pulverised from them that they could never be of any therapeutic value…… besides, as the essential oils are so rich and potent still in the organic varieties, you can reuse the spent leaves by simply retopping the pot with hot water and leaving to brew for another 15 – 20 minutes ♥

Please remember to drink loads of fresh filtered water too as you still need 2 – 3 litres per day of water ♥

take care of you ♥
